My journey through Analytics.

Senior Analytics Engineer with 4+ years of experience building scalable data models and production-grade analytics solutions in healthcare and enterprise environments. Specialized in SQL, dbt, Looker, Power BI, Qlik, BigQuery, and Airflow.

I transitioned into data by self-learning SQL and analytics, which led to a BI Developer role at Globemed Group — building ETL pipelines and dashboards across HR, finance, and operations.

Currently at Cardinal Health designing executive-level Looker dashboards and data models focused on patient safety and financial performance. In parallel, I designed and built the full data layer for ADREA, an IoT-based equestrian facility management platform, from ERD design through Metabase dashboard delivery.

Fluent in English, French, and Arabic — currently learning Czech ahead of my MSc in Business Analytics in Prague (Sept 2025).

▸Built and maintained 8+ executive Looker dashboards tracking patient safety and financial KPIs, used by 1,000+ stakeholders across multiple business units.
▸Designed scalable data models and advanced LookML implementations, leveraging persistent derived tables (PDTs) and caching to improve dashboard performance and reduce load times by up to 80%.
▸Optimized complex SQL queries on BigQuery datasets with millions of rows, significantly enhancing query efficiency and overall data pipeline performance.
▸Partnered with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, enabling faster, data-driven decision-making impacting patient safety and operational performance.

Analytics Engineer — Side Project
▸Designed and built an end-to-end Postgres schema (60+ tables) for an IoT-based facility management and animal welfare platform monitoring 46 horses across 4 stables, owning the full data layer from ERD design through dashboard delivery.
▸Modeled high-frequency sensor data (heart rate, vitals, body temperature, environmental readings) and AI-classified camera behavior signals into clean, query-ready tables supporting real-time monitoring and historical trend analysis.
▸Built a multi-tab Metabase dashboard suite (Stables, Horses, Camera AI, Anomaly Tracker) used by vets, trainers, and facility managers — including derived wellness scoring with week-over-week trend classification (IMPROVING / DECLINING) and per-stable environmental KPIs.
▸Operated within a 4-person team alongside cloud, infra, and mobile engineers, owning database architecture and analytics layer end-to-end.

▸Developed and maintained Qlik dashboards (including self-service solutions) used by insurance clients to monitor claims across millions of rows, while managing Qlik administration including user roles and access control.

End-to-end analytics pipeline on personal Garmin Connect data: Python ingestion → Postgres warehouse → dbt transformations → Metabase dashboard, orchestrated with Airflow. Authored 5 dbt models with incremental materialization, custom tests, and source freshness checks. Built a 10-tile dashboard surfacing training trends, recovery signals, and the insight that 55% of running sessions fell into the unproductive "gray zone."
